Samsung has been one of the major brands with its innovations. We can safely say that they captivated their audience with an 8K TV without a base. South Korean consumer electronics giant held its First Look event last week, launching the Q950TS 8K TV. With a thickness of only 15mm, this TV uses a QLED panel, but this is not the focus of our attention, rather, it is the fact that it has almost no base. Samsung says their new TV has a 99% screen-to-body ratio, with an ultra-thin bezel at the bottom, measuring just 2.3mm. Given that, there is currently no 8K content on offer, the TV uses AI technology to create content that looks like 8K to us. The company also says that the TV has an adaptive image adjustment, which adjusts its brightness and contrast depending on the environment in which it is located.
The Q-Symphony function optimizes the audio performance of your TV, using its speakers and the associated soundbar simultaneously. The TV can be controlled using Alexa, Google Assistant or Bixby options, while Android users can use their phone near the TV to reproduce its content. So far, Samsung has not revealed the price of this novelty. Can you guess what it will be? Other interesting elements of this TV are OTS + (Object Tracking Sound Plus), which recognizes moving objects on the screen and then moves the audio track through its speakers to mimic their movement. As they say from the Samsung brand, the audio experience created in this way perfectly fits the 5.1 surround sound setting.
